Install Theme Request Possible?
-
I was just wondering if it was possible to request an admin or something to install a theme because I two in mind that I REALLY like. I would get a free webhost in order fopr me to upload them myself but the problem with them these days is that they aren’t up very long or they require to post in their forums in order to keep your hosting but some people (like me) don’t have time in our already busy lives to make posts.

Best bet would be to submit a Feedback from your Dashboard. That’s what they have told us many times in the best.
Do remember though that Themes usually need to be rewritten for the software we run here as many of them aren’t WordPress MultiUser compatable. (And, let’s be honest, I’m sorry to say many aren’t WordPress compatable. *sigh*)

And Whitehouse.com is owned by the US government. ;)
*cough* That’s not a worksafe link by the way. Or at least it wasn’t last time I checked.
But anyway, all of those themes were written for the standard version of WordPress. That’s the single user version one downloads and runs in their own webspace. We’re running WordPress MultiUser which is different. (ie Most everything is shared, the file layouts are different, permissions are different, etc.) Most of those themes still don’t have widgets, some of them still aren’t WP2.0 compatable, and some of theme have issues with different browsers.

Yes. You may want to make a post on your blog about this too; the more people who request a theme, the more chance there is of getting it.
-
Sending in a Feedback is also suggested (Maybe with the reason why you want these themes) as this has been stated by staff as the preferred method of theme recommendations.
Which two themes are we talking about anyway?

http://themes.tonystreet.com/index.php?wptheme=FoundationAs you’ve only been here 8 days you probabaly won’t know that these themes would have to be re-written in order to be offered on wordpress.com because wordpress.org operates on a totally different code.
Please wait for drmike to address the issues in detail.

Why can’t they all be written in the same code…*sigh* Oh and the link you have provided for the Foundation skin is not the one I was looking at.

Like I said, best bet would be to submit a Feedback from your Dashboard with an explaination on why you would like to see these themes installed.
TT, go look at the site Jose is discussing. You can search for the titles of the themes using the search bar there.
I know the dozen I pulled down a few days ago all had issues to some extent on my standard WordPress 2.0.3 install. Some of them were labeled for being for WP 1.2 still. I got my current theme from there and I’m pulling my hair out on it. *sigh*
Do note that there are only 51 themes labeled as Widget ready on their list. The list over at the Codex isn’t much longer.

I went there page 35 http://themes.wordpress.net/columns/3-columns/46/foundation-10/
it was smallThe one I found was full size – OOPS! I forgot to say when you use the link I provided that you have to hit refresh and then you get foundation

Well, I have sent feedback and now al I have to do is wait. Takes me back to my hospital days when I had to wait and wait….and wait some more.
