Install wordpress on subdomains and change the hyperlinks?
-
Hi all,
I need some help with wordpress. I have got a wordpress on my main domain and I have created the subdomain in the cpanel to point it to the public_html folder where I can use the wordpress on my main domain and my subdomain at the same time, but I have got a problem with my blog posts.
I want to change the link in the blog posts on my both domains when you click on the image to get the link ads, example:
http://mydomain.com/ts-dollar/?id=246983
and
http://blog.mydomain.com/ts-dollar/?id=246983
On both domains, it will show the same links in the blog posts when I added the hyperlink:
http://mydomain.com/ts-dollar/?id=246983
Do I need to create a subdirectory folder and a different database name for each subdomain and do I also need to copy the wordpress files from the main domain to the subddirectory folder so I could be able to create the username and password for the subdomains and then login in the wordpress for each subdomain to change the links in the blog posts?
I want you to understand that I want to use the main domain and subdomains to use the same theme, same plugins, same blog posts and same pages but the links in the blog posts have to be different, because I want to use it to track the traffic sources on each subdomain to track for clicks, leads and sales.
If I use the same links in the blog posts for both domains, I would not be able to know how many clicks and sales I would get it from and I would not know where the clicks and sales are coming from. That is why I want to use it separate so I can track it easy.
Do you know how I can change the links in the blog posts when I am using the same wordpress? what I need to do if it is possible?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

HI there,
It sounds like you’re using WordPress on your own server, not WordPress.com.
Support for the version of WordPress you’re using is provided on the WordPress.org forums. We’re not really able to help you here:
https://wordpress.org/support/
The users there will be able to advise you on the edits you need to make to the files and database for this to work.
