  if i purchase only domain from bigrock..after buying domain can i install wordpress and make website with wordpress for free..help me plz

  Hi @raghavgagneja,

  Unfortunately, no. The WordPress.com free plan does not support domain mapping, that is, getting the domain you buy to lead to your WordPress.com blog. Any of the paid plans do. Find all the details on those plans at https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  However, I note that you say “install WordPress.” You can install the free WordPress.org product. You’ll still have to pay for hosting! See the details: https://codex.wordpress.org/Getting_Started_with_WordPress

  Just to clarify: I said the free plan won’t allow you lead to your WordPress.com blog. That’s not completely true. You can have your domain registrar forward to your free WordPress.com blog. In that case, your URL (https://www.domainname.com) will immediately switch to your WordPress.com free URL (https://myblog.wordpress.com). But that would be free and is an option!
