Installed WordPress, how do I connect my wordpress to it?

So i’ve installed WordPress on my mac (so I can install a theme).

I’m confused though, I seem to have made a new account? I want to connect my already existing wordpress blog (stevenbridges.co.uk) to this wordpress ‘program’ I now have installed so I can install a new theme.

It seems to have made me a new blog. I want to use the ‘http://localhost/wordpress/wp-admin/themes.php’ with my actual blog, not a new one.

Thank you so much in advance for your help. It’s really appreciated!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot use your personal internet connection for a website. Personal internet connections do not allow that.

You have to hire a web host such as godaddy, bluehost, dreamhost, etc., then you have to install and install and configure the wordpress.ORG software on that web hosting account, then you have to export your stuff from here and import it into the new site. You also need to point your domain name at that new web host. In the US, you can expect overall monthly costs, all things considered, to be between $10 to $25 depending on your requirements. Not sure about the UK.
