Installed WordPress incorrectly

  I just installed WordPress through my InMotion hosting company two days ago. Apparently I installed it incorrectly.
  According to their support people, this is the deal: “I am sorry to see this issue continues for you. We will be happy to review this further. The issue is due to your website files being in a separate directory. It seems you have uploaded your WordPress to the /public_html/dir directory. Your site files will need to be in the public_html directory for your site to work with the domain. You can see now that you can go to jalynbargainshop.com/dir and see your site as it is on the server.”

  Do I just go into my settings and delete the /dir on my site url’s, or how do I fix this problem?

  You are in the wrong forum and need to ask at WordPress.ORG for support with that version of the software.
