Installed wordpress using MAMP, site not showing up

    I just installed my WordPress using MAMP. After I got it to work and logged in my site does not show up locally, even though my domain works when I copy and paste the same address into my web browser. What do I need to do so I can fix this and be able to edit my blog locally?
