Installing a a third- party theme on a free wordpress

  I’m currently on the free plan and I want to install a custom theme but when I tried, it asked me to upgrade to the paid plan. Is there anything that you can help me with?

  No. If you can’t find a theme here to your liking and must use a theme really designed for sites hosted elsewhere that use the WordPress.org software then upgrading to a Business plan is the only way.
