installing a forum

  Can anyone tell me of a good forum that I can put on my site which allows user-generated threads, etc? I can’t get SMF to upload. I am a technoramus. Thanks.

  You’re in the wrong forum. We can’t install forums on WordPress.com blogs; on independent WordPress blogs you can, though. Info on that would be available in the help forum at WordPress.org.

  You can’t take control of WP.com servers therefore you cannot upload software of any kind, you either need to pay for web hosting or you can try a free hosted forum software service such as Invision Free. Google it.
