Installing a theme purchased from another website

  I have purchased a portfolio theme which you can install with wordpress. Unfortunately I’m brand new to this and have absolutely no idea what to do now. I have downloaded the theme and can’t figure out where to go from there. There are no help folders and information for beginners in the download. I purchased this theme

  Themes can’t be uploaded to blogs hosted on WordPress.com. They can only be uploaded to self-hosted blogs running on WordPress.org software. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:
