Installing a 'themeforest' theme correctly

I installed a theme that I purchased through themeforest.com. It doesn’t look like the demo I previewed before I purchased it now that I have installed it onto my wordpress dashboard. I am trying to make my own website and this is my first attempt. Plese help. Thanks!

You failed to provide actual URL and that’s an issue for us as 30% of those who post here ought to be posting to wordpress.ORG support http://wordpress.org/support/
Type the actual URL into http://whoishostingthis.com to determine who hosts the sites please so you know where to post for support.
This is wordpress.COM support. We do not provide support for local installs of wordpress.ORG software, or for wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.
