Installing Custom theme in free blog

    I Have a free blog of wordpress not even premium.All i want to do is install my own theme in zip format to it.I dont have any idea about how to use ftp thingy to upload that as i have seen such option in many threads.I Have seen tutorial of how to setup but how to get login details of server and all for that,i dont know that too.I know am acting like dumb but am really new to this,somebody please explain me in detail about it.Please remember that my blog is free blog like xyz.wordpress.com. Please help meeeeeee!!!!

    You cannot use your own custom theme on the free WordPress.com sites.
    Please see the following for your theme options:

    as freakingid said you cannot upload a theme to a WordPress.com hosted website.
    You don’t even have to deal with FTP uploads on WordPress.com.
    You can choose from a wide range of themes (370+ free and premium ones) from your Dashboard>Apperarance>Themes or visit the theme showcase.

    If you intend to keep having your blog hosted here by WordPress.COM then ask for a refund for the theme you purchased.

    You cannot install any custom theme or any third party theme into any wordpress.COM hosted blog and there is no upgrade that changes that. The “add new theme” option does not exist on any WordPress.COM hosted blogs. You are confusing WordPress.ORG software with WordPress.COM hosted blogs.

    There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.

    The only themes we can use on WordPress.com hosted blogs are licensed and adapted to run on our multiuser software the themes are found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and in your dashboard at > Appearance > Themes

    There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs for security reasons and we cannot:
    upload any third party themes,
    create child themes,
    create our own themes,
    edit templates,
    create own own layouts,
    or use stylesheets from other themes.

    To install plugins or third party themes into a site then you have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install. WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, conduct ecommerce and edit the database.
