installing custom theme (Lens) on host elsewhere

    New to WordPress, I have hosting elsewhere that supports WordPress with scores of themes. I want to buy and use LENS though ($79), so do I just purchase it and point it to my domain (and they install), or do they give me the files to FTP to specific directories myself? I’m not seeing the clear path. Thanks for anyone’s help in advance.
