Google analytics. How do I install Google analytics on my wordpress.org blog.
Blog url: http://thecatalystpartnership.wordpress.com/ -
Google Analytics cannot be installed at WordPress.com, but we do offer our own stats system via the Site Stats section of your blog’s Dashboard.
-
Sorry but I think you’re stats are quite unreliable. I have 2 under referrers but 7 views uner top psost and pages.
I know I had at least 700 views yesterday but it only shows 198.
That needs to be fixed please.

How do you know that you had 700 views?
Also, referrers are only left when someone follows a link to your site from another website. Direct visits (typing in the URL), visits from email, and folks who run security software to block referrer records will not be counted as referrers.

Views to any post on that site would only be considered as views to just that site. Even if you used Google Analytics, they would not be considered as views to your WordPress.com blog.
If you view a post on triberr.com, that’s where you’re viewing it, not thecatalystpartnership.wordpress.com.
-
triberr.com is a invitation only network and is simply used by the members to retweet blog posts. No one outside triberr.com can view the post. So there is no way that the views can come from triberr.com

I have no idea but I intedn to find out. Have nobody ever told you that your stats are inaccurate?
-
I just checked through your stats and everything ads up just fine for me. It’s hard to say that they’re inaccurate if we don’t even know what you’re comparing it to.
-
how do you know they add up. Anyway, you didn’t answer my question.
My blog post was sent out to my 2 mill twitter followers and I have 200 views. That’s 0.01%. No way.
-
-
I re-tallied what is displayed with the hits recorded in the database, and there is no issue with that.
There is no guarantee that your Twitter followers will read your post, that’s just human nature. Also, your Twitter account only has 222 followers.
We filter out all bot visits from our stats, so that’s probably the majority of of the discrepancy. Bot traffic accounts for easily 60% – 70% of website traffic.
-
If they hit the link in the tweet they go to my blog and a view is recorded no matter if they read it or not. Yes, my twitter account on has 222 followers but I can easily prove to you that my posts have been retweeted to more than 2 mill people. That’s the easy part.
What bot traffic? Sorry.
It has been retweeted by separate individuals individuals with total followers of 2 mill+ followers. Probably 70 – 80 people.
-
If they hit the link in the tweet they go to my blog and a view is recorded no matter if they read it or not.
Yes, that is correct.
Yes, my twitter account on has 222 followers but I can easily prove to you that my posts have been retweeted to more than 2 mill people. That’s the easy part.
Which still doesn’t mean that everyone decided to click the link. You are dealing with humans here, with their own unique personalities and desires.
What bot traffic?
Bots are non-human programs which spend 24 hours a day crawling the web for information. These include search engine crawlers, comment spam bots, email harvesting bots, etc. Bots make up about 60% – 70% of the traffic on the web.
