Installing links and banners to my blog now that I with GoDaddy

  • Unknown's avatar

I signed up (purchased two years) with GoDaddy so that I could install advertisements and banners to my wordpress.com blog, but when I log in to my blog through GoDaddy I am still unable to install Amazon Associate links.

What do I need to do to add these links. Do I have to design a whole new blog through GoDaddy? I want to keep using the blog I designed when I was just using wordpress.com, but now I want to install advertisements. Please help!

  • Hi there – You have registered a domain and mapped it to your WordPress.com blog, but your blog is still hosted here on WordPress.com. Text-based affiliate links are fine and should work as long as they’re relevant to your content, but advertising is not permitted on WordPress.com.

We have an advertising program you can apply for, WordAds:
    http://wordads.co/

If you require other advertising, you can move your site to a self-hosted installation of WordPress. You can read more about the differences here:
