Installing new themes to an existing website
-
Hi! I am a freelancer, doing a web re-design for a website. I have access to the admin page, but cannot find a way to upload a new theme. All searches tell me there should be an ‘add theme’ button, but there does not appear to be one. I would love some help with this please.
I would also love to know how to re design the site without jeopardiing the functionality of the current one.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey jbeckimage,
At WordPress.com, you can install third-party themes only if you have a Business Plan.
Please, check the pricing.
https://wordpress.com/pricing/And if you want to change the design, you may need an additional CSS which is possible if you have a Premium or a Business Plan.

HI!,
I am actually not concerned with my page, I am redesigning a page for a client. I assume they have a business plan. Is there a way for me to check that from their site’s admin?

I assume they have a business plan.
If you’re logged in and click on “My Sites” and look at “Plan” lower down on the left should tell you. Only the Business plan allows uploading third part themes.
