Installing plug ins

    Hello WordPress,
I am working on my first website. I have other websites I do have plans on building. and I know some HTML code. I could consider it worthy of building from scratch. Because at this point i am working on learning it. However, i am currently working on one website at a time. Which is my current chuck winstead.wordpress.com site.
I am wanting to install some plug ins to utilize on my sites, but as someone who is blind. and have noticed in my past when browsing around on the web. Some sites are not exactly blind and screen reader friendly. So my top three concerns or marks I strive for in my site is screen reader friendliness, usability, and good content.
I’ve read about the migrating sites feature, and i am a bit confused. Is there any recommendations on what i can do to work on doing my web work a little more better. I am wanting to install the plugs ins and create my content.
Is there an easier way I can indecently migrate my site? I know how to use a computer, but more often than not, the trouble I run into is the instructions just tend to be confusing to me.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi!

Here at WordPress.com, all of the plugins available to us are already installed. You can read about them here:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/

WordPress.com does have some accessibility ready themes that may be closer to what you are searching for:

Another option is to self- host with a WordPress.org install. Plugins can be installed if you self-host, but you are much more responsible for the technical upkeep of the site. You can read about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

As for migrating your site, are you trying to come to WordPress.com from somewhere else?
