Installing Plugins

    Hi. I have a Plugin that I wish to install. But the instructions are not helpful. They ask me to install a group of files into the WordPress Plugins directory. They also suggest that the way to do this is by going to the Plugins link on the administration page. Well, when I go there, there is no such link on my admin page. What am I doing wrong?

    If your blog is hosted here at wordpress.COM, and you had done a search of the support pages for “plugins” you would have gotten this one right at the top of the list, http://support.wordpress.com/plugins/ , which explains that plugins are not allowed here at wordpress.COM.
