Installing Plugins
-
I do not see the Plugins option on the left of my dashboard. I found them by navigating here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ but the issue is it downloads as a .zip file and I do not know how to upload the .zip file to my blog post so that it actually installs. Can someone please help?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You will not see the plugins menu on http://beststuffontheinternet.wordpress.com/ because that is a WordPress.com blog that does not use plugins.

I don’t know what you plan to do with your blog – but judging from the name –
You might also review the TOS before you get too far along just in case:

my website is http://startupculturesa.com and I cannot see the plugins option on my dashboard, how do I install the plugin?
-
That is a WordPress.com hosted blog. There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/See here for a full comparison WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org
http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/There is no upgrade you can purchase here that provides FTP access and the ability to install plugins and or any third party themes. If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.
