Installing plugins

    Hi

I have recently set up a blog on WordPress.com (burgerjournal.wordpress.com) which did not have the plugin facility.

I have today purchased the domain name via godaddy.com. I believe that this is still hosted by wordpress although I am new to this and therefore need some help. My blog has been transferred over (now burgerjournal.co.uk). I assumed this would now enable me to install plugins but I cannot see this facility anywhere.

Any help anyone could provide would be great. I want to be able to set up Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, edit title tags, meta descriptions and other features to help with my SEO.

    Thanks

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Buying a domain gets you just that: a domain. It does not move your hosting off WordPress.com or exempt you from any of the restrictions here.

The SEO of a WordPress.com blog outranks the SEO of an independently hosted site, all other things being equal. But if you want to buy hosting so you can use plugins, you can just point your domain name to the new site once you have it up and running.
