Installing Revolver Map Visitor Log

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hello all,

I want to install a ‘visitor traffic log’ to my blog snookerbacker.com from here http://www.revolvermaps.com/

Firstly, I would like to know if this is compatable with wordpress.com and secondly I’d like to know how to do it!

    Any help appreciated
    Thanks

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://jd.revolvermaps.com/r.js"></script><script type="text/javascript">rm_f1st('0','280','true','false','000000','3uLkvJ7duWC','true','ff0000');</script><noscript><applet codebase="http://rd.revolvermaps.com/j" code="core.RE" width="280" height="280" archive="g.jar"><param name="cabbase" value="g.cab" /><param name="r" value="true" /><param name="n" value="false" /><param name="i" value="3uLkvJ7duWC" /><param name="m" value="0" /><param name="s" value="280" /><param name="c" value="ff0000" /><param name="v" value="true" /><param name="b" value="000000" /><param name="rfc" value="true" /></applet></noscript>

As you can see, it contains Javascript, therefore it is not possible to embed it here. It’s stripped out, for security reasons.

There’s also a Flash version, but Flash is also stripped out, for the same reason.

Right ok thanks. I know there is another one Eejit?? that can be installed and is compatable, if you get a chance you couldn’t possibly let me know how to get that onto the site could you?

    Many Thanks

I use Whosamung.us and it works well, but there are lots of others. For Whosamung.us, you have to email them and ask them for the code for your blog, because they no longer make it available for WordPress.com unless you ask.

Thanks for your help, is it fairly straightforward to load on? I’m not sure which widget I need to drag to the right…..sorry to be a pain.

It’s easy. You use a text widget. You put all these kinds of codes into a text widget. Then make sure it’s in the sidebar in the right place and save it and you’re good.
