  How do you install a template that you downloaded from WordPress.corg?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The themes you can use on WordPress.com are the ones you see under Appearance.

  Themes you find online will work only on a self-installed WordPress.org sites.

  Tess has given you the short answer.

  I will give you the long answer.
  There is no FTP access to free hosted wordpress.COM blogs and we cannot upload themes into them. The themes for wordpress.ORG installs are not coded to run on our wordpress.COM software. All themes with the same names here at wordpress.com as the wordpress.ORG versions have been specially adapted by Staff so they can be run on our wordpress multiuser (wpMU ) blogging platform

  Also note that we bloggers cannot access the files and edit themes or templates on wordpress.COM blogs because all blogs wearing the same theme are using the same underlying templates. Only Staff can access and edit templates and themes because all edits made affect all blogs wearing the same theme.
