Hello there! Themes can’t be uploaded to blogs hosted on WordPress.com. They can only be uploaded to self-hosted blogs running on WordPress.org software. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:

Hi Miguel!
You mentioned a theme from http://covertstorebuilder.com/ — this is a theme that can only be used on a self-hosted site that is running WordPress.If you’re interested in integrating the Amazon Affiliates program to a WordPress.com site, with a WordPress.com theme, that’s fine. However, you are more limited in utilizing affiliate links here at WordPress.com than you would be on a self-hosted site. Banners aren’t allowed, for instance.

Hi again Thatrobyn, thanks a lot for your answer. Let me apologize first in advanced if this question goes beyond your tasks. Actually I really need to insert the banners in the page, however since I have a premium account, I also would like to work with wordpress the same way I am doing now. Then, if I move to a self-hosted site, how am I going to be able to work with wordpress?

Miguel, I can certainly answer that question :)
If you move to a self-hosted site, you’ll still be using a WordPress dashboard to manage your site, but you won’t be logging in here at WordPress.com to do so. You’ll be logging into your site host’s server.
You can download WordPress 3.9.1 for free here, and install it on your new server.
You can also download Jetpack here for free, and install it so you have many of the same features as you do at WordPress.com.
If you choose to do this, I am happy to cancel your Premium upgrade here at WordPress.com and refund your purchase. You simply need to decide with 30-days of purchase. So, you have some leeway if you need time to research the issue.

Hi Thatrobyn, thanks a lot for your support, it has helped me a lot. Actually for this project I guess that might be better to use a self hosted site, so if you can cancel my premium upgrade, I would be very grateful.
Let me also say that I am fully satisfied with the customer service, specially with your support, and I will certainly will come back to wordpress.com again.

Miguel, I did think you might prefer the self-hosted version. I’m very glad that will work for you.
One warning, when I cancel your upgrade and refund, the mapping will disappear between comprarselfiestickya.com and comprarselfiestickya.wordpress.com/. So if visitors go to comprarselfiestickya.com/, until you’ve created your website, they will only see a “holding” page created by your domain host. Is that all right? If so, I’ll go ahead and take that action ASAP!
