Installing the supersize plug-in?
-
I found the WP Supersized plug-in on wordpress.org and would like to use it for my blog. How can I get it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
You can’t. Plugins cannot be used on a WordPress.com blog. Describe what you want to accomplish by using it and maybe we can find a workaround.
-
edit:
I know its not possible on wp.com to install it myself, I just want to know if there is another possibility to get it.
I need it, because I want to have one image on my home screen, which changes every time the site is refreshed.

FTP access and plugins are only for VIP bloggers http://vip.wordpress.com/our-services/ or for those with WordPress.ORG installs.
There is no FTP access to our free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot install plugins. There is no upgrade we can purchase that changes that.

That’s not possible on a free hosted WordPress.com blogs. For that you need to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install. http://wordpress.org/

We do have some themes that have post sliders. A few have auto-advancing post sliders. None allow for programming timing.
Sight is a free theme a featured post slider that does auto-advance and so does Modularity Lite but you cannot control the frequency of display. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sight/
http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/post-slider/Premium themes with featured post sliders that automatically advance are: Debut, Currents, Linen, On Demand.
There is no means here http://wordpress.com/themes/ of searching for that exact “auto-advancing” feature. We can only search for themes with “post sliders”. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/post-slider/

Thanks for the fast answers.
I’m going to try out the random header, thanks raincoaster. -
Sorry for asking again, but I cant find an answer somewhere else. I set a random header now and everything works perfectly, but is there any possibility to display the header image only on my front page? I find it disturbing to have it on the other pages. Right now I use the Twenty Twelve theme.
