installing themes

    I am attempting to upload studio press theme & genesis framework to my wordpress site. I have followed the instructions outlined (ie: log on to dashboard -> appearence-> themes) and I get stuck at the point where I am supposed to click the “install theme” tab. Basically there is a large tab that says “manage themes” but no tab that says “install themes” and therefore I am unable to click on it. Is there something that I still need to download, purchase, or run before being able to install the theme. Also, several of the instructions I have googled make reference to “wp-content/themes/ directory” which i don’t quite understand. Please help!

    I’m sorry, but themes can’t be uploaded to WordPress.com. That’s a feature of self-hosted blogs through WordPress.org.

    You may use any of the available themes we have under Appearance > Themes in your dashboard, and you may want to look into purchasing the Custom Design Upgrade to customize one of the themes we offer:
