installing themes

  hello im using word press to build a website, im new to all this so i started looking at tutorials but on the videos they tell me to go to wordpress.org download the themes then go onto wordpress.com, go to apperance – themes – then it saying in the right hand corner theres a button that says INSTALL there is no install button anywhere ….. my main question is how do i install different themes on wordpress????

  I’m sorry, but themes can’t be uploaded to WordPress.com. That’s a feature of self-hosted blogs through WordPress.org.

  You may use any of the available themes we have under Appearance > Themes in your dashboard, and you may want to look into purchasing the Custom Design Upgrade to customize one of the themes we offer:
