Installing THESIS theme via Transmit FTP

    Hi,
    I bought THESIS recently and downloaded it to my desktop. The “DIYthemes” site where it is from has instructions on how to install it, but it involves using an FTP and i can’t get past that part. I have a mac and purchased “Transmit” for an FTP, but I just can’t seem to figure out how to get it up and running. My blog is on wordpress.com and is hosted there. I have a domain name that is the primary one from godaddy.com. I’m sorry if this stuff is irrelevant–i am so in over my head, I don’t know what info to include!
    Also, my blog is new (June ’10) and I don’t know what version of wordpress i am using.
    Any help would be great…Thanks!

    You can’t upload your own Theme on WordPress.COM, you are limited to the 100 or so Theme’s you see in your dashboard, you can’t use FTP at all on WordPress.com. These limitation are for security and reliability reasons.

    The version number of WordPress is not relevant on WordPress.com because WordPress.com takes care of keeping the software updated for you.

    You should contact the person you bought thesis from and ask for your money back; they may not give it to you, though. When you buy a car, the seller does not need to test if you can drive a Standard before making the sale.
