Install.php will not open

    I’m basically cluless on what to do to install this program. Five minutes for php guru but a lot longer, won’t say how long, but a lot longer than 5 minutes.

    1. What MySQL user name?? My blog name (jcpent) or my real name? I think it is my blog namr (jcpent) since that seemed to work for logging in.

    2. When I open the wp-admininstall.php file in the browser is that online or offline?

    3. Even with the user name of jcpent the error message is wp-admininstall.php could not be opened.

    Oh dear … wordpress.com and wordpress.org run on different software. You are in the wrong forum. You should be asking over here http://wordpress.org/support/forum/2
