instead of WP audioplayer, wrong code inserted into page
-
Hi, I have an fairly urgent problem. Something weird is affecting all my blog pages that used to play sound files.
Many of my posts show the WP Flash audioplayer to play an MP3 file. The player is shown with this standard code (cited between the lines):
————————
[audio http://stayontop.files.wordpress.com/name_of_file.mp3|animation=no|width=480|initialvolume=90|artists=artist_name|titles=title_of_song|loader=0x404040|track=0xE5E5E5|tracker=0xBFBFBF|righticon=0x009916]
————————
This always worked perfectly over the past year or two.
But now, this activates some script that changes the output.
Instead of the above, this code (cited between the lines) is injected into the page:
————————————————–
<span id=”wp-as-9665_1-container”>
<audio id=’wp-as-9665_1′ controls preload=’none’ style=’background-color:#FFFFFF;width:480px;’>
<span id=”wp-as-9665_1-nope”>Download: mp_molina.mp3
</span>
</audio>
</span>
————————–
The effect is that instead of the audioplayer appearing in the page, the word “Download” is shown with a direct link to the MP3 file that was supposed to be played.
Obviously, I don’t want to my visitors to download those MP3s! I just want to play them in the standard WP Flash audioplayer!Can some EWP staff member please tell me what’s going wrong here? This needs to be corrected asap….
Thanks, Henk

Will someone please react? Please? Please?
I’ve now put up a notice in my sidebar, telling my readers that the audio player is not working anymore. But obviously some other thing needs to be done…
I surely hope I don’t have to re-edit my 60+ posts that have the audio player in them!
Meanwhile, if I don’t do anything to change those pages, users can now download mp3 files that were never meant to be downloaded, but just to be played … as they did until a few days ago.
Please, who can help? -

Thank you so much Galois, I was not aware of that thread. At least it is something to know that WP people are aware of this being a problem. I hope this will be solved soon, as to me this is a very nasty problem…
I’ll hook in on that other thread now.
Thanks again! -
