Integrate Hubspot Form

Hello, I’m trying to integrate my Hubspot account with WordPress and place a Hubspot form on a WordPress-hosted page.

Every piece of documentation I can find on this says there should be a block editor or shortcode I can copy, but in WordPress I only see ‘layouts’ and ‘components’ and I can’t find anything to help with these. How can I add the form I want to the contact page?

  • Hey there, could you confirm what site you’re working with? We’ll check it out and point you in the right direction for support.

I’m almost wondering if you have some other editor installed.

I can’t, unfortunately. I work for a marketing firm and this is in support of a client we work with. I’m not at liberty to publically disclose who. Would I be able to discuss in a private conversation?

I work for a marketing firm and this is in support of a client we work with.

Without this information, we’re not able to precisely help with this as private support is only for customers who have a paid WordPress.com plan. However, it does sound more and more like the site you’re working on is not hosted with us here at WordPress.com.

To avoid confusion, there are three different “WordPress” at play here:

    1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
    2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
    3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and with whom you’re contacting now.

From what little information I have, I assume you’re using Elementor or some other page builder plugin for the building of the site, not the default WordPress block editor. If so, you would need to contact the developer of that plugin for help.

If you still have trouble, please reach out to the WordPress community for guidance:

Thank you for the information. I wish I could share a screenshot to show you what I see. The top nav has mention of the “WP Engine” and the URL is http://www.clientname.com/wp-admin/ if that helps.

I will reach out to our client and see if they have a page builder plugin. Appreciate you pointing me in the right direction!

  • Hi there,

The top nav has mention of the “WP Engine” and the URL is http://www.clientname.com/wp-admin/ if that helps.

Thanks for confirming. WP Engine is a separate provider of WordPress sites, and we are peers you might say, but not directly connected to one another. Also as @staff-heroponriki mentions, WP engine uses the free open-source version of the WordPress platform, which is typically the choice of developers and power users.

On version of WordPress we use on WordPress.com is custom, and does not operate in the same way as the open-source version of the software but I think it may make sense to contact WP Engine support directly. We are not familiar with their service offerings but it is my understanding that they may offer private WordPress site support for sites they host.

To clarify, the link shared above to https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting is a public forum like this one, and is the correct place to get help for the version of WordPress you are using, generally speaking. But given your host I think in this case would be superseded by the support WP Engine offers. I’d check there first.

    Hope this helps!

That helps immensely! I hope you can understand my confusion, but I genuinely appreciate the clarification, as I wasn’t aware of the distinction. I believe this is everything I need from the forums, and hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

(Can’t believe I got characters from Xenoblade and Ghibli to help me, my wife is gonna be so jealous ;) )
