Integrating blog with bludomain site
-
I currently host my photography site with Bludomain, and have my WordPress blog…what I’d like to do is have the blog be my homepage…so if someone were to type in “www.metrobluephoto.net”, they would see my blog’s main page. If they viewed my “about us” page, the address would reflect that: http://www.metrobluephoto.net/about.
Right now, I’ve used this little bit of html I found on an earlier post:

(in a post left by “Miciah”)This got my wordpress blog in the /blog subfolder in my site’s file manager, then I redirected “www.metrobluephoto.net” (the main page, index) to http://www.metrobluephoto.net/blog.
Now, when someone types in http://www.metrobluephoto.net, they get redirected to http://www.metrobluephoto.net/blog. I’m happy to have my blog show first, but I want to figure out how to get the address to show without the “/blog” on the end. And if they go to my other blog pages, I want that to be reflected in the address as well. Ok, this is turning into rambling; I apologize for such a lengthy question, but I would love to sort all this out; I hope that there’s someone here that enjoys solving problems like I do (this one’s over my head!). To make things easier, here’s a perfect example of what I’d like to achieve…

You are in the wrong forum and need to be over at WordPress.org. Our blogs here work differently:
