Integrating multiple blogs into one blog that streams posts from the others?

    Hi there,

    I have a question.

I have a couple blogs for long term projects (that are separate) and I was wondering if there was a way that when I update them, Automatically posts from both of those blogs would be streamed on a more cohesive blog (i.e. I have a personal blog that also autmatically posts updates from the other two, but also is a separate blog, that I can add posts to that won’t show up in the other two blogs) Someone mentioned WordPress Multisite or MU but I have been pretty confused if that is the way to go. It doesn’t matter if there themes are similar or separate although I would like their content to be separate (and categories, and stylesheet etc.)

Anythoughts or suggestions? I know its sort of a meta concept but I am sure there must be someway to stream those other blogs automatically from (one) blog location- while those posts from other blog locations are inbetween/ integrated with other everyday posts from that “super” blog.

    Thanks in advance!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there. I don’t know of a way to do this on WordPress.com, and besides, creating duplicate content across multiple blogs like this could get your blog suspended, not to mention it will cause all the blogs to drop in search rankings as Google really doesn’t like duplicate content.

WordPress Multisite is most probably a WordPress.org plugin that can’t be used here. You might want to look into the self-hosted option at WordPress.org where something like this could be possible:
