Integrating secure pages into a WP site

    I am new to WP web development but am proving to be a quick study. I need to integrate into my new WP site registration for an annual conference. I have looked at a few of the event registration plugins and am perfectly comfortable using our existing reg form. However, in either case, I do not know how to utilize the secure server that we have for taking credit card information. Permalinks are not editable to include the HTTPS designation, and so I’m at a bit of a loss as to how to proceed.

    I would be grateful for any help in getting over this cognitive hurdle.
