Integrating Square with WordPress

Hi there! I am a website developer currently working with a client in NYC to build a great website to accompany their great brick-and-mortar.

The client uses SquareUp for their instore processing of sales and inventory management and I would love to not use Square’s prehistoric built-in Weebly site builder to build a site for them.

    I have a few questions..
    1. Is inventory management synced efficiently while utilizing the WooComerce app?
    2. Does WordPress allow liquor sales? My client is an organic wine + liquor shop.

    Thank you!

WordPress.com is a managed hosting environment. Any store that uses our hosting also has to abide by these store guidelines: https://wordpress.com/support/store-guidelines/

You can use WooCommerce on the business plan which is $300/year. It includes the hosting, domain fee, and hosting. Plus your client and you would have access to 24/7 live chat support from our team.

Take a look at the Square payment and inventory integration that we have documented here: https://woocommerce.com/products/square/

    This extension is free.
