Integration with Sendlane autoresponder

  Hi, I’d like to integrate my website with sendlane autoresponder for a subscription form in the Footer. From Sendlane I’ve got a long code. A friend of mine tried to insert it but the optin form appeared ugly, not proportioned in width and height. Could you tell me please what exactly I should do to place the code correctly and where? Sorry, I am not very technical.
