Intellectual property theft

http://www.gonzotoday.com has pirated my writings. Our agreement was verbal and the evidence is in email. I’m taking steps now because site owner Lawrence B Keilman refuses to respond. The next step will be FBI oriented. I’m trying this first as an attempt to hit him over the head with a bag of pennies so that he might get a clue and start acting right. Thank you. I appreciate all input.

    Site: https:www.gonzotoday.com.
    Correct account: Unknown

Hi there, you’ll want to reach out to the hosting provider for that website, which looks to be GoDaddy.com LLC

We won’t be able to assist you with this here. Just to clarify, this support forum you’ve posted to assists users with free websites hosted on the WordPress.com platform. You can read more about these differences at https://wordpress.org/support/article/wordpress-vs-wordpress-com/

Thank you. Pirates and IP thieves are a blight with no excuses. In this situation, I encourage everyone approached by gonzotoday.com to not engage. They are thieves, parasites, scavengers and idea-less crooks whose sole purpose is to steal from others and then reword and pirate as ‘their own.” Shame on WordPress to tolerating these reptiles for 10+ years in order to profit from their actions. Boo. And effu you diabolical sole evferzerz. Corporate sc-um.

To echo what @justjennifer said previously, we don’t host that site so we have no ability to do anything about it. GoDaddy has their own Terms of Service and has their own dispute process you can begin to rectify the situation.

Name-calling, accusations, harassment, and other abuse toward the community or staff will not be tolerated and as such we’ll be closing this thread and removing your privileges to post here in the WordPress.com forums.
