Interactive maps ? available as plug-ins?

  What is the latest on availability of plug ins for interactive maps?

  The last post on the subject I found on forum was from 2012.
  Is this available now as an add-on?

  I am looking for something like the following but with pull-out data from the map markers:

  Swedish fieldwork, part 1

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there. Interactive maps don’t work on WordPress.com. We can only embed regular Google maps here. https://en.support.wordpress.com/google-maps/

  Additionally, it’s not possible to install ANY plugins on WordPress.com, and there’s no upgrade that changes this. http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/

  As I said in your other thread I just answered, you might want to look at a self-hosted WordPress.org site instead. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
