Interest in a blog that's been silent since 2007

  Hi WordPress team, I’m interested in http://www.kinho.wordpress.com, the last post there is from 2007, how can we reach the owner and ask if they are willing to release the name. I’m intending to use it to set up a blog for my dog school in Belgium.

  You can try to contact the owner via comments. If the owner agrees, there is a simple way to transfer the blog: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account

  If there is no contact information WordPress.com will not provide you with an email address due to privacy policy reasons.

  Assuming that the owner doesn’t answer, you can register another blog with a similar name: http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Or even better, you can get rid of the .wordpress.com part and use a custom domain name instead, like example.com: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/
