Intergalactic 2 excerpts

  im using the Intergalactic 2 theme.

  does anyone know if i can have my posts show as afull post and not a excerpts of the post and get rid of the “read more” link?

  thank you for any help. im kinda new.

  Hi @pickledmidget ,

  Unfortunately, no, I don’t believe showing the full post with Intergalactic 2 is possible. Each theme is designed to show either the full post or an excerpt on the blog page. A limited number of themes provide the option to choose between the two. The way Intergalactic 2 is designed with the equal-height panels on the blog page does not leave room to show the full post.

  If you’re interested in showing the whole post, then my best suggestion would be to find a theme that allows that capability. Below are a few themes that can show the full post on the blog page.

  • Karuna
  • Lodestar
  • Twenty Nineteen

  On the other hand, removing the “Read More” link is possible with custom CSS. I could provide you with some code you could add to your Customizer, but I’m not sure if this is what you are after – only showing an excerpt and deleting the “read more” button. If it is, I would be more than happy to help.
