Intergalactic: Feature Image Overlay

  The featured images on the ‘home page’ all have an overlay that dims the image, presumably to make the headlines easier to read, but can anyone help me adjust that so it doesn’t dim the image quite so much, please?

  Hi there,

  It’s not an overlay, but the images are slightly transparent which makes the dark background ‘shine’ through. So if you want to change this you’ll need to change the opacity of the background images:

  .blog .entry-background,
  .archive .entry-background,
  .search .entry-background {
  	opacity: 0.6;
  }

  0.3 is default. 1 (or 1.0) is no opacity.
