Intergalactic theme – create new page without large picture header

  • Unknown's avatar

Hi, is there a way of creating a page within this Intergalactic 2 theme without it having a large picture as a header. It completely fills the page and has the title layered over it so you have to scroll down a pages worth to see the content on that page. This looks great but not always wanted, especially on my Showreel page where I would like the showreel to be seen straight away.

I do not have a feature image for this page or any other media. It defaults to displaying my front page header image on every new page I make.

Is there a way of not having a large image header on a new page?

    Cheers!

  • Hi there,

There isn’t a way to disable the display of the header on a certain page without using Custom CSS. That feature becomes available when upgrading the site to WordPress.com Business or Premium.

Aside from that, you could disable the header across the site, and only use featured images on the posts/pages where you want the large image at the top.

if you decide to upgrade and want help disabling the header on the Showreel page, feel free to reply here and I can help with the CSS.
