Intergalactic theme: Featured Images not showing on pages

  This question is regarding pages not posts…

  I have set a featured image on my About Me page, but when I preview and even when I update and view the page the image does not show up. I have searched through other forums for an hour now and am not finding anything helpful.
  I am using the Intergalactic theme.

  When you say you are using the WordPress.com theme Intergalactic, are you referring to Intergalatic 2? https://wordpress.com/theme/intergalactic-2

  I just tried this WordPress.com theme on my WordPress.com site and it turns out featured images are working just fine on my WordPress.com Site Pages.

  Are you sure you have set the featured image on the right WordPress.com page and saved it?

  That does look like the right theme, but when I go under Personalize >> Themes it says Current Theme: Intergalactic

  Is this an old version? Maybe I just need to update to Intergalactic 2?

  I installed the Intergalactic 2 theme and the featured image is showing.

  I would suggest you to install the latest version of the theme (Intergalactic 2). Like I said earlier, I tried this theme on my WordPress.com site and featured images on Pages are working fine.

  It should ideally work fine for you too. Can you change your WordPress.com site’s theme to the latest version and let me know? I will be around and can help further should you have questions.
