Intergalactic Theme – iPad viewing issues
-
Hi there,
I’m using the Intergalactic theme (loving it), however there seems to be a problem when viewing my site on my tablet (iPad).
The featured image for the post is grossly enlarged and I cannot scroll down to see my text.
Is there any way to resize/scale the image when viewing on the tablet? It works perfectly on my phone.
And/or, Is there a way to force the website to go into mobile mode when viewing on the tablet like it does when viewing on the phone?
website in question: http://www.suritimepieces.com
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi suritimepieces – it looks like you’ve activated the mobile theme under Appearance > Mobile. Intergalatic is already responsive, meaning that it was designed to look great on any size or type of device. Most folks choose not to activate the separate mobile theme when the theme you’ve selected is responsive, since it’s not necessary and strips out the unique design of your theme. Would you like to try deactivating the mobile theme and seeing how it looks?
And/or, Is there a way to force the website to go into mobile mode when viewing on the tablet like it does when viewing on the phone?
That’s not possible, as the mobile theme uses device detection instead of screen size to activate, and it does not activate on tablets.

I noticed that you’re redirecting your domain suritimepieces.com to suritimepieces.wordpress.com using a redirection service at your domain registrar. WordPress.com doesn’t support that type of redirection, and many things may not work or look as expected. For example, you can’t currently access your dashboard at suritimepieces.com/wp-admin like you should be able to.
I strongly recommend that you point suritimepieces.com to your WordPress.com site using the domain mapping upgrade, which is the only method we support.
Just let me know if you have any questions.
