intergalactic theme – remove Leave a Reply on pages & condense first post

Hi I have googled and searched the forum but can’t find the right code sorry.

What CSS code do I need to remove the Leave a Reply box from the pages? I have unticked everything under Settings/Discussion and unticked Discussion under Screen Options when editing the page but they’re still there.

And what code do I use to darken the colour of the theme name on the footer of the pages?

I also have a problem with a post – the first one I did hasn’t condensed like the others, you’ll have to scroll right down to the bottom of the home page to see what I mean. The direct link to the blog post is http://onefourfour.org/2015/01/14/january-light/

Hi there, January Light has a Post Format of “Image” and they are excluded from being excerpted. Generally that format is used to show a single image, not a number of images. You can edit that post and change it to “standard” format and then it will excerpt.

You can turn comments off on a page by page basis in the editor. Open the page in the editor, go to the screen options tab at top right and activate the discussion module and then scroll down below the edit area and uncheck the two selections in there and update the page.

On the footer credits, the Terms of Service require that those remain in place and readable, so be careful on the color selection. To change the color, you can add the following. The hex color code I have in the below is probably about as dark as I would go. I included a declaration to turn it to normal font weight also. It had been bold.
