  My clients have decided to switch to Wix as they found WordPress too difficult to operate. I have tried to go online to get the copy from their website but I cannot get the website.

  What is the URL of the site and is it hosted with WordPress.com or self-hosted? Are you having trouble accessing the website or getting the site copied and exported?

  Hi

  Thanks for coming back to me. The website was http://www.interlinked.co
  When I go to the WordPress site I automatically get logged into an account I set up years ago and not this one. I need access to the admin pages to take information/copy from the old site to create the new website.
  We are still paying WordPress but it’s as if they have deleted the account, which is wrong, in my view.

  Sorry I forgot to answer your questions.
  I am having trouble getting into the admin pages or actually finding anything on Interlinked with WordPress. I do need to copy and transfer the existing site and the site is not hosted by WordPress.

  Hello Andy,

  It doesn’t look like that domain was registered with WordPress.com.

  Could they have been using self-hosted WordPress with a different hosting provider (e.g. GoDaddy, Bluehost…etc) ?

  I can see the domain is currently pointed to Wix: https://www.whatsmydns.net/#NS/interlinked.co

  Thanks for coming back to me.
  I believe the name was registered with Netcetera.
  You’re right it is pointed to Wix, as I mentioned before, the client was having difficulty in using WordPress. I just need to be able to get into the admin site as I used to do all the time and there I can take the copy etc and then rewrite for them.

  Ok many thanks for that additional information.

  To get access to the backend of that installation, you would need to reach out to Netcetera.

  Failing that, you could try to use a wayback machine like https://web.archive.org/ to obtain that copy.
