Intermittent Fill-Screen Carousel Gallery

    For the sites I run I have noticed that the full-screen carousel gallery enabled via Jetpack for media operates intermittently. For example, if one is to look at this post and click on the first image (top left photo of presents around a small Christmas tree after the paragraph that ends in “…few days of skiing.”) it goes to this image instead of displaying the target image in a full-screen carousel gallery.

    If I scroll further down the page, however, the images start to show in a Jetpack-enabled full-screen carousel gallery when clicked. For example, if I click on the images in the gallery after the paragraph that ends in “…over the handlebars on the way down. A great day.” those images will go to a full-screen carousel gallery when clicked.

    All images in the post are uploaded in the same manner, and use the tiled mosaic WordPress gallery. Just randomly some don’t go to the full-screen carousel gallery when clicked.

    Any ideas?
