Internal bookmarks or Menu

  My text in Word had internal bookmarks allowing the reader to jump to different parts of the text. After pasting it into WordPress, the bookmarks are not there. Is there a way of adding internal bookmarks in WordPress?

  Would WordPress retain my bookmarks if I copy my text from PDF document?

  If WordPress does not support internal bookmarks, is my best option a menu?

  No, it wouldn’t be copied from an external file, you will want to add the Page Jumps manually. Here’s how you can do that:
