Internal Error
-
Hi, today I connected a new godaddy domain to my existing WordPress site. It immediately connected on godaddy’s end and changed my domain name. Although I disconnected it, my site is still identifying with the new domain which I’m assuming has something to due with the Internal Error message I’ve received. Because of this, I can’t access my wordpress site to try to fix the problem. I already handled it on godaddy’s side. I need guidance on how to access my wp site again.
Please help.
Thanks,

Hi Nicole,
I’m afraid that your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:
You can look for help at the community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
http://wordpress.org/support/ is also a great resource for sites using the open-source WordPress.org software.
