Internal errors…help!

    Hi,
    I am trying to change my menus and move widgets on my homepage and keep getting this error notice.
    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, (email visible only to moderators and staff) and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    I haven’t come across this problem before. Can you please advise asap as I am on a deadline to get the changes finished by Tuesday.

    It sounds like you’re asking about a self-hosted WordPress site. Can you tell us the name of your site?

    You’ve asked this question in the WordPress.com forums which is for support for sites running on the WordPress.com platform.

    To get help with self-hosted sites, please visit the WordPress.org forums: https://wordpress.org/support/ You will have to register another account there to ask questions.

    If your site is in fact self-hosted, it’s possible that the hosting company may be doing some server administration on the weekend, which could account for the error when trying to save or post to your site.
