‘Internal Links’ (and abbreviated versions)?
-
Is there a way to create ‘internal links’ on a page or a post? — that is, can you suggest something like ‘press here’ or ‘click here’ and take the reader to another page? This seems possible by using the full URL for the page, and just allowing them to click the URL; but is there a shorthand version, so the reader only has to click on a word rather than a URL?
Any suggestions welcomed, including on related techniques (in case there may be other ways to do similar things to the above)?

Adding links to an external blog, or to another page on your own blog is done all the time. Here is a description of how to do it:

Hello there,
When posting to this forum you have two alternatives.
(1) Post the complete url for the blog to which you refer starting with http:// each and every time you post to the forum.
(2) Link your name to your wordpress.com blog which works well if you only have one blog. If you have more then be sure to indicate which blog you are asking about when posting.
