Internal page tabs
-
Hi all,
Typically a WordPress.org user, but playing around with .com for something specific.
Does anyone know how I could go about achieving an internal page tab effect? Basically like the following:

Then, you are in the wrong forum.
This forum is only for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.com
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/And you should ask in the WordPress.org forum.

Yes, I am using WordPress.com.
I said I’m typically a WordPress.org user, but this time around I’m using .com, so wondering if anyone has any ideas how to achieve a similar effect. Sorry if that wasn’t clear.
I know the other sites are .org – one of them is mine, so I should know :)
I know how to achieve something like this in .org, anyone have any ideas for doing similar in .com??

I know, so I told you. ;)
There are two sites related to your question. And none of them is hosted on WordPress.comYes, I am using WordPress.com.
What is the URL of your WordPress.com blog/site?

These aren’t the two sites related to my question – josullivan.org has nothing to do with what I want, and I know the other one is .org, but I want to see if I can achieve the same effect on .com.
The .com site I want to do it on isn’t public.
I just want to know if something like this is possible on .com – if it’s not, that’s fine, I can just use another .org, but I would rather use .com for various “academic” reasons.

You can try find a similar theme on https://theme.wordpress.com/
Cheers.

Thanks for the tip. Has anyone else got some specific themes or suggestions that I should look at?

Hi josullivan – welcome to WordPress.com. :)

We don’t have a built-in tabbed featured like the site you’ve linked to. You could build something manually with multiple pages to simulate the tabs and some CSS to style a menu within each page, or you could use a custom menu widget. This route would require a page load to view each section of the resume, unlike the .org site.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
